Winona/LaCrosse APICS Chapter would like to offer
the following Inventory Workshops courses that can
be held at your company for $25 per person.Each
course runs 3 hours.
Basics of Inventory Management:
a broad overview of basic concepts and good
inventory management strategies.
this workshop shows how to implement or improve a
cycle count program and illustrates the true purpose
of cycle counting-detection and correction of
Distribution Inventory Management:
describes the distribution network model and its
objectives. DRP exercises are included.
and Bills of Material:
Illustrates how to use an MRP system. Describes how
to structure bills of material and how MRP is
Discusses how to best create physical inventories
and how to keep inventory under control.

CPIM will be moving from 5 modules to 2 modules.The
two new modules are BSCM and SMR
Content from MPR, DSP and ECO will be incorporated into the two
newly revised modules
If you have passed 2-3 of the old exams, it is most
cost effective to complete the old version.
The chapter will be offering the old CPIM all year
as often as demand dictates to assist students in
completing the process
The new version of CPIM will be offered 4th quarter
when the materials are out.

Chapter, 75 people have taken one or more CPIM
classes in the last 12 months. 40 members have a CPIM Certification, 15
are Certified is CSCP, and 4 have a CIRM
Requirements for CPIM/CSCP
Every 5 years- 75 points required.
Membership counts 6 points per year-Where to accumulate points:
1.Company classes and training
2.APICS meetings, webinars, workshops etc
( for item 1 & 2 all events counts 1 point per hour)
3. Serve as an APICS volunteer-chapter board,
4. Attend the APICS conference
