CPIM will be moving from 5 modules to 2 modules.The
two new modules are BSCM and SMR
Content from MPR, DSP and ECO will be incorporated into the two
newly revised modules
If you have passed 2-3 of the old exams, it is most
cost effective to complete the old version.
The chapter will be offering the old CPIM all year
as often as demand dictates to assist students in
completing the process
The new version of CPIM will be offered 4th quarter
when the materials are out.

Every 5 years- 75 points required. Membership counts
6 points per year-Where to accumulate points:
1.Company classes and training 2.APICS meetings,
webinars, workshops etc ( for item 1 & 2 all
events counts 1 point per hour)
3. Serve as an APICS volunteer-chapter board,
4. Attend the APICS conference ( for item 3 &

Happy, Healthy New Year 2018 to all, I am happy
to be back coordinating this paper contest that
was created to honor a past great leader of the
Terra Grande District of APICS. I am honored to
coordinate this effort this year.
Again this year the area chapter previously
known as the Terra Grande District and the
Heartland District will be conducting a student
paper contest. As many of you know, Chuck
Nelson was a great leader in APICS,
especially in the Terra Grande District, prior to his passing away in 2007.
The deadline for submissions will be
April 15, 2018
and winners will be announced in June 2018.
Papers must be submitted to me electronically at
firstname.lastname@example.org. The File name must contain the title and the
author’s last name. Prizes of
will be awarded for first place and second place
for both Undergraduate and Graduate papers.
